Built-Up Roofing consists of multiple plies of roofing felts binding together with bitumen using hot asphalt. The material can consist of polyester felt, bitumen-saturated felt, coated felt, or other fabrics. The cap sheet is typically a granulated surfaced sheet. The Houston energy code requires a White reflective surfaced cap sheet if you are putting on a new roof system. Although built-up roofing is not as common as it once was, we can any accommodate any specification that comes up.\n
